how to participate?

Participation to TheDexterLab project is open to all, and you can freely use the resources that you can find in this website here for your class without any need of registering.

If you want to benefit from a specific support and participate to the demonstration phase of the project, starting from November 2022 to June 2023, you can register here and a partner will contact you back to define a programme together.

Is there a fee to participate?

No, there is no charge for the activities, they are all accessible freely in creative commons, meaning that you can reuse it as you want.

Only the materials need to be purchased to carry out the activities. If you consult the pedagogical protocols, you will see that most of the material is easily available in class or at home. You can also use the simulators available on the MakeCode platform if you don't have access to the material and hence perform experimentations at no cost. In addition, if you register to be helped by a partner, you can benefit from a couple of programming boards and materials borrowed for the time of the programme development.

Will I get help with the activities?

You can decide to organise the activities by yourself, and you can participate to the competition to share with us your results.

If you want to get helped, you can also register to our demonstration phase, starting from November 2022 to June 2023 here. A partner will contact you to discuss with you about your needs and explain you how the demonstration will be organised. In this case, you will be supported in your activities, especially if you need training in the field of programming or if you have troubles accessing electronic boards. This participation is not mandatory, and is free of charge.

IF I decide to participate to the demonstration phase, do I have to implement all the protocols?

No. If you want to get helped and participate to the demonstration phase with the support of our local partners, you will define with the consortium your needs and which protocols fit the best to your classroom topic and level. You can decide to only perform one protocol or more, up to what you will discuss with us.
